The Rotary Club of Sedona Village is awarding $2000 in Summer Enrichment Scholarships. The scholarships provide students who live in Sedona or attend Sedona schools with tuition for summer programing. Students had a choice of programs that enrich their abilities in music, drama, leadership, art, academics, or sports.

The three scholarships worth up to $750 required a letter of recommendation, a video demonstrating their chosen interest, and an essay about themselves and their interests.

Awarded students and programs include: Mari Chang-Columbia Pre-College Program, Koel Suby-Grand Canyon Youth Expeditions, and Isabella Griffen-Nike Volleyball Camp.

Rotary Youth Services Committee Chair, Holly Johnson states, “We had outstanding student applicants. They selected a variety of enrichment camps and they were all enthusiastic about their choices.” This is the second year for these scholarships and the Rotary Club of Sedona Village plans to offer this opportunity for future summer programs.
