Join Rotarians and neighbors for the annual Oak Creek Clean Up on Sunday, September 1.  Our Rotary Club is again joining forces with the Oak Creek Watershed Council to host a community cleanup event.
All who wish to participate in the cleanup are invited to meet at the parking lot at the end of the dirt road portion of the Verde Valley School Road at 8 AM.  Dress appropriately for the weather; bring plenty of water.

Rotary Empowers Youth

Rotary makes life experiences possible for many area students. Several local students shared their travel and camp adventures with Village Rotarians today. Kaori Emerson, a school year exchange student in France, shared her impressions of French life and commented on the many friendships she made during the year. She was especially thankful for her three French host families. Katrina Le expressed her gratitude for her unique time in Italy, while Jaden Kuhn reported on her short-term summer exchange in Italy, noting that although brief, the experience was enriching and helped broaden her worldview. On a local level, Lash Lupo and his father expressed thanks for Rotary's summer camp scholarships. Sophia Wolf also thanked the Rotarians for her Sedona Dance Academy summer scholarship, which allowed her to continue her ballet training overseas.

All student exchanges and scholarships are made possible through the ongoing fundraising efforts of the Village Rotary members.
