Hurricane Relief/Rotary in Action

Hurricanes Helene and Milton (Sept./Oct. 2024)

In the span of just two weeks, Hurricanes Helene and Milton have caused widespread devastation across Florida, Georgia, and the Carolinas, leaving countless families in urgent need of assistance. Rotary Zones 33/34 are responding swiftly to the hardest-hit areas, but the recovery efforts will require significant support.
Our Village Rotary will donate $1,000 to Rotary's Relief Efforts; will you join us by matching this donation.  Make your check out to the Rotary Club of Sedona Village Charitable Foundation.  PO Box 21479, Sedona 86341  Our combined donations will be sent by October 23.

Rotary International's Foundation Impact
Rob Schaefer presented a Master Class about Rotary International's exceptional Foundation.  Starting with a $26 donation decades ago, the Foundation has garnered more than          $6.8 Billion for worthwhile Rotary projects here and abroad.  Outstanding among the many Rotary accomplishments is the Polio Plus Campaign.  With the audacious goal of eradicating Polio worldwide, the Foundation with partners like the Bill Gates Foundation has been nearly successful.   Today there are only two countries with a total of 44 Polio cases.  But the battle goes on thanks to the generosity of Rotarians globally.
The Foundation offers Rotarians many avenues of giving to many areas of focus.  You can find full information about Rotary giving by logging onto your Rotary International "MyRotary" account and click "Donation".  Your many options will be explained.
