RWOS:  Helping Those Who Can't Help Themselves
The Club tried a "new" form of service on April 17-18 by helping those who can't help themselves:  animals.  The Humane Society of Sedona needed help with odd jobs and tasks like sorting pet food and cleaning windows.  It may not have been the most fun tasks, but that's what service is about!  And best of all, we were working together.
Thank you to Sara, Jeff, Carolyn, Russ, Will, Robin, Mark, and Robert for representing our club in partnering with this new venue.

We had a fabulous tour of this incredible facility.  One of the most important things we learned is that COVID was a blessing for the animals!  When we went into lockdown, no visitors were allowed in the shelter.  The staff noticed that the animals were far less stressed.  Once "normal operations" resumed, the staff implemented an appointment only system for interacting with the animals.  Today, the dogs and cats are healthier and happier because of it.
