Youth Mental Health First Aid Training and Rotary International Mental Health Initiative (RAG)

Village Of Sedona Rotary is taking the lead while working with all the Rotary Clubs of Sedona  and Verde Valley  to present the full day training for people in our community who work with youth. Clear your calendar for the full day training Saturday February 1st, 2025

Ivy will introduce the basics about training The participants will be taught how to:

• assess the risk of suicide, self-harm or substance abuse
• listen nonjudgmentally
• give reassurance and information 
• encourage appropriate professional help
• Encourage appropriate self- help and other support strategies 
• common signs and symptoms of mental health and or substance use.
