Monthly Community Garden Open House Series
Arizona Milkweed for Monarchs, the Rotary Club of Sedona Village, and Sedona Bee Company invite you to the first in a series of monthly Community Garden Open Houses on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, from 7-9 a.m. at Big Park Community School, 25 W. Saddlehorn Court, Sedona, AZ 86351.
Explore community raised bed gardens and a Monarch Waystation garden. Engage with experts from Arizona Milkweed, the Rotary Club, and Yavapai County Master Gardeners. Enjoy presentations, hands-on activities, and family-friendly events. Learn about gardening, pollinators, and beekeeping. Connect with your community and support local conservation efforts. Join us for a morning of discovery and learning.

Annual Garden Plant Sale
The Village Rotary holds its annual Rotary Community Garden Plant Sale & Open House, in May at the Community Garden. 2025 date TBA. Milkweeds for Monarchs and Sedona Bee Company are our partners in many Community Garden events.
The Plant Sale offered a variety of heirloom plants, including tomatoes, squash,
beans, and peppers. Milkweed for Monarchs offered a variety of wildflowers, great for attracting pollinators to your garden and labeled clothing (inset).
Sedona Bee Co. offered a variety of local honey and products, such as soap, made with the honey.
“Backyard Beekeeping 101”, was a free class taught by Cindy Mahon.
